# Directions:
01 - Place bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat and cook until crisp, approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess fat.
02 - Toast all bread slices in a toaster or on a grill until golden brown.
03 - Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
04 - Distribute bacon, sliced tomato, and lettuce across two bread slices. Season tomato with freshly ground black pepper if desired.
05 - Cover ingredients with remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side facing down.
06 - Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
