→ Cheese
01 - 7 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced 0.4 inch thick
→ Vegetables
02 - 16 cherry tomatoes
03 - 16 fresh basil leaves
→ Dressing
04 - 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
05 - 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
06 - Sea salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
→ Garnish
08 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Use a small star-shaped cookie cutter to cut 16 stars from the mozzarella slices.
02 - Thread one cherry tomato onto each skewer, add a folded basil leaf, and top with a mozzarella star.
03 - Place the assembled skewers on a serving platter.
04 - Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze over the skewers. Sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and optional chopped basil.
05 - Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
