Layers of creamy yogurt, candied oranges, and granola create a vibrant, refreshing breakfast or dessert.

# Components:

→ Candied Oranges

01 - 2 medium oranges, thinly sliced
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 cup water

→ Yogurt Layer

04 - 2 cups Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
05 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, optional
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Granola Crunch

07 - 1.5 cups granola, store-bought or homemade
08 - 0.25 cup chopped toasted almonds, optional

09 - Fresh mint leaves, optional

# Directions:

01 - In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add orange slices in a single layer and simmer gently for 12 to 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until rinds are translucent. Carefully transfer orange slices to a parchment-lined tray and let cool completely, approximately 10 minutes.
02 - In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt with honey if using and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
03 - Spoon a layer of yogurt mixture into the bottom of each glass or jar. Add a layer of granola followed by several pieces of candied orange. Repeat layers, finishing with a yogurt layer and arranging candied orange slices on top. Sprinkle with additional granola and toasted almonds. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
04 - Serve immediately for maximum crunch, or chill up to 1 hour before serving.
