01 - Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Using two large mixing bowls, separate the egg whites from the yolks.
03 - Add softened cream cheese to the egg yolks and whisk until smooth and creamy.
04 - Add cream of tartar and salt to the egg whites. Beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
05 - Carefully fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites, maintaining aeration for optimal texture.
06 - Spoon the mixture onto the lined baking sheet, forming 6 evenly sized rounds approximately 1/2 inch thick.
07 - Bake for 25 minutes until rounds are golden and firm to the touch.
08 - Allow to cool briefly before removing from the baking sheet. Serve warm or at room temperature.
